Privacy Policy

Privacy is part of Kreotar's product architecture.

This policy explains how Kreotar handles information across browser-based tools, optional KreoCloud workflows, account features, third-party imports, analytics, and advertising-supported free access.

A practical privacy model for a browser workspace ecosystem.

Kreotar combines quick browser tools, professional studios, and optional cloud workspace features. Because these surfaces behave differently, this Privacy Policy explains them separately instead of using one vague promise for the entire ecosystem.

Many quick tools are designed to run directly in your browser. Other features, such as account login, KreoCloud storage, cloud file imports, and certain service-backed functions, may require network requests or storage in systems that support those features. We aim to make those boundaries understandable.

This policy is written for users, search engines, reviewers, and regulators who need a clear explanation of how Kreotar thinks about privacy, data control, and product limitations.

01

Information you provide directly

You may provide information when you create an account, contact support, upload or import a file, save a file in KreoCloud, use a studio, submit feedback, or interact with a form. The exact information depends on the feature you use.

Account and support information may include an email address, authentication identifiers, support messages, and technical context needed to respond to your request. File and workspace information may include file names, file metadata, saved project records, timestamps, and content you intentionally save or import.

  • Email address and authentication information for account features.
  • Support messages and contact details when you reach out.
  • File names, metadata, and saved workspace records for KreoCloud.
  • User-selected files when you choose upload, save, import, or open actions.
02

Browser-based processing

Many Kreotar tools are designed to perform work inside your browser. This can include file reading, conversion preparation, editing, compression, formatting, preview generation, and other client-side operations powered by browser APIs and local runtime capabilities.

When a workflow is fully browser-side, the file can remain on your device during that workflow. However, not every feature has the same technical path. Some workflows may require cloud storage, server endpoints, authentication, third-party imports, or external resources. Kreotar's product language should reflect those differences.

  • Local processing reduces unnecessary file transfer.
  • Browser storage can be used for drafts, settings, and handoff state.
  • Some features may still require network-backed services.
  • Users should not assume every tool is offline unless the feature states that clearly.
Local-first means a design preference and product architecture principle. It does not mean every Kreotar feature is offline or serverless.
03

KreoCloud workspace data

KreoCloud is the workspace layer for saved files and ongoing projects. If you use KreoCloud, your chosen files and related records may be stored so you can access them later, organize them, reopen them in studios, or continue work across sessions.

KreoCloud is optional for many quick tasks. You can use many public tools without saving files to a cloud workspace. When you do use KreoCloud, the data is used to provide the workspace functionality you requested.

  • Saved files and project records support reopen and continuation workflows.
  • Metadata such as file names, categories, sizes, timestamps, and status may be stored.
  • Account state may be used to connect your workspace to your authenticated session.
  • You can delete workspace items through available product controls.
04

Third-party imports and integrations

Kreotar may support importing files from external providers such as cloud storage services. These actions are initiated by you. The provider may require its own authentication flow and may apply its own privacy policy and terms.

Kreotar only needs access necessary to complete the import or workflow you request. We do not claim control over third-party provider practices, availability, security incidents, or account decisions.

  • Third-party imports are user-initiated.
  • Provider authentication and permissions are governed by that provider.
  • Imported files then follow the workflow you choose inside Kreotar.
  • You should review provider terms if you connect external accounts.
05

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Kreotar may use essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, language, workspace state, and product functionality. These technologies help the site work reliably.

Kreotar may also use analytics and advertising technologies to understand product performance, improve pages, and support free access. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and your consent settings where required.

  • Essential storage supports login, preferences, and workspace state.
  • Analytics helps identify performance and usability issues.
  • Advertising may support free public tools.
  • Cookie controls are described in the Cookie Policy.
06

How we use information

We use information to operate Kreotar, provide tools and studios, maintain account and workspace features, respond to support requests, protect the service, debug issues, improve usability, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your private files to build a profile for sale. We do not sell your personal files or workspace content. We may process limited technical data to keep the service secure and functional.

  • Provide requested tool, studio, and cloud workspace functionality.
  • Maintain authentication, security, and abuse prevention.
  • Respond to support and account deletion requests.
  • Improve reliability, accessibility, performance, and content quality.
07

Security and retention

Kreotar applies reasonable technical and organizational measures for the nature of the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we design the product to minimize unnecessary data transfer and to separate public pages from private app surfaces.

Retention depends on the data type. Browser-local data can remain on your device until you clear it. KreoCloud data can remain while your account or saved workspace items exist. Support records may be retained as needed for operational, legal, or security purposes.

  • Local browser data is controlled through your browser and device.
  • Cloud workspace items can be deleted through available product flows.
  • Some operational logs may be retained for security and reliability.
  • No security statement should be read as a guarantee against every possible event.
08

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You can contact Kreotar to request help with account or privacy matters.

You can also control many items directly: clear browser storage, delete KreoCloud files, manage cookie settings, avoid optional imports, or use quick tools without signing in when a workflow supports it.

  • Request account or privacy support at [email protected].
  • Delete workspace files through KreoCloud controls where available.
  • Manage browser storage and cookies through your browser settings.
  • Choose local quick tools when you do not need cloud persistence.
This policy is not legal advice. It is a product privacy statement intended to explain Kreotar's practices clearly.

Data minimization

Avoid collecting or transferring data that is not needed for the requested feature.

Clear boundaries

Explain when a workflow is local, cloud-saved, authenticated, or third-party connected.

User control

Let users decide when to save, import, delete, or continue work through KreoCloud.
